Terms & Conditions of Hire

– We will deliver, erect and decorate your bell tent/s to the agreed location on the agreed date.
– We will pack up and remove all equipment from your event location on the agreed final day of your bell tent hire.
– We will do everything possible to ensure your tent is at the agreed time and date, however we take no responsibility for delays out of our control such as road incidents.

– A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your event date.
– We accept credit cards (via Stripe) or direct deposit. We do not accept cash.
– We are unable to hold your event date until the deposit has been paid.
– All bookings are for two nights; extra nights are $100 per night.
– We will issue you an invoice for payment once you accept our quote.

– Final payment is due 14 days prior to your event.
– Payments not received within this timeframe may result in the cancellation of your booking.

– Cancellations at least 14 days prior to the event will be entitled to a refund of the 25% deposit.
– After that, the deposit will not be refunded, as it can be difficult to rebook at such short notice. Any other monies paid will be refunded.
– Cancellations within less than 7 days of the event will have no monies refunded. Exceptional circumstances will be considered.
– Alternatively, we will happily hold the monies over for you to reschedule at a more suitable time.

In addition, the following applies:

– If we deem the tent cannot be safely pitched due to adverse weather conditions, we will re-schedule your booking to the next mutually agreeable date. Should no suitable date be agreed upon, a full refund will be given.
– If you cancel due to weather conditions, where it is deemed by us that the tent can safely be pitched, no refund will be given.
– No refund will be given should adverse weather occur once the tent has been set up.
– We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time. In the unlikely event of this happening, a full refund will be made, however we will not accept responsibility or liability for losses or any other costs incurred as a result.
– Should your chosen location cancel your booking, no refund will be given by us. Please contact us if this happens and we may be able to assist in finding a new location.

– Occasionally in torrential wet weather, the tent/s may let in a small amount of water. This can happen if the pegs or ropes come loose and cause the tent to sag, or if window or door zips are left open.
– If it is very windy please check the ropes and pegs regularly to make sure they are safely secured.

– Delivery is free within a 50km radius of Casuarina, NSW.
– Delivery beyond this will incur an extra fee. This will depend on the location and will be included in your quote.

– Before you confirm your bell tent hire, please ensure you have enough space to comfortably fit the tents:

– 4 metre tents need 6 metres in diameter
– 5 metre tents need 7 metres in diameter
– Stargazer Tent needs 7 metres in diameter
– The tents are 3 metres tall, so generally cannot be installed under a carport or other roof/shade.

– The area needs to be grass or similar – it cannot be installed on a hard surface like concrete or decking. 
– You are responsible for ensuring the tent/s fit in the space and no refunds will be provided if we cannot erect the tent upon arrival due to space constraints.
– Please ensure the area is clear and clean, free of lawn furniture, toys, animal droppings etc. We are unable to assist you with this on arrival.

– You are responsible for removing all rubbish and personal items from the tent/s prior to us arriving to take them down.

– The tent must remain a smoke-free and pet-free zone at all times.
– No candles are allowed inside the tent/s. You will be given lanterns to use inside the tent for lighting.
– We do not allow cooking inside the tent.
– Fire pits should be at least 5m away from the tent and never be left unattended.

– We can install lighting around the tent if there is power available within 15 metres.
– This is completely optional, and battery-powered lanterns are provided inside the tents for lighting.

– We strictly set up the tents and are not responsible for the safety of people or property. We assume no responsibility or liability for accidents, theft or damage caused during your event, unless it is proved that such an incident was caused by faulty material, workmanship or negligence on the part of the Business.
– Our decision is final in all matters relating to these Terms & Conditions of Hire.
